#What made Tower Defense a good game?

They liked it because it was a first for Minecraft (a tower defence game like this). Obviously it was based on another tower defence game but to have it on Minecraft and to be able to play and strategise with friends was what was most appealing about the game.
The game had been around since The Chunk merged with Cubecraft and so the community had been around a very long time and was very developed. Everyone knew eachother and everyone was trying to create and develop the best strategies for the game.
Most of the people who played Tower Defence on Java only played Tower Defence, and didn't play the other games that Cubecraft offered as they didn't interest them. Therefor, the slightly lower playercount on Tower Defence compared to Eggwars for example is slightly misleading as to what was the actual popularity of the game was.
Preach
Fully agree with that
Are they gonna add it back in the future?
"idk"
literally
Just don't know
If it was added back in the future a lot of things would have to fall right
TD would probably only be added when the server gets a lot more Players
It had its community, but the player count was just poor towards the end
Probably will only be updated to a higher version if it's being added to Bedrock though
?
Oh, thank you for the explanation!
I was talking about it with a friend as well who played the game a lot and wondered what would happen if they bring it back. Is there no server or person who already did a remake of it?
Not that I know of 😕
Hmm... To be honest my friends and me thought about exactly this, creating a remake and making it playable while it is not playable. But since I wasn't quite sure if the "old" players will like that or cubecraft would do something against it - That's why I started asking 😅
And they also didn't puplish the maps or plugin or anything?
Nope
They won't publish any of their games/code as they would have to expose the main server code for it to work
According to them
