Blockwars update sucks
There’s more than just that
From the very beginning it’s just been like talking to a brick wall. An army of disapproval from the community coming in all at once, and gathering more and more followers. Disapproval on youtube polls, more disapproval on the community talks channel thing about the update, but no disapproval on the forum on the actual cubecraft message. That’s just because they decided to lock the replies of the post, and that’s one of the unfair things. They knew very well nobody will like it, so the solution they propose is to have it not open for replies. Basically just silencing the entire community and pretending like none of them have a problem with the update. As time went on, it just became exponentially more clear the team was just gonna flat out ignore the entire playerbase and not listen to the entire cubecraft community saying to not delete 5v5.
After the release, of course people don’t like it. They gave it a shot and they didn’t like it, now they’re asking for 5v5 to be brought back, which is what they’ve wanted this entire time. For 5v5 to stay and not be removed. The only reason 5v5 sucked was because there were so many bugs that made it frustrating to deal with. As for the team, they’ve been real quiet in the blockwars chat ever since the update came out. Usually I’d wake up and see one of the admins talking there, occasionally ignoring every message about the issues and just having normal conversations. After the update, I don’t see them at all, how convenient. Probably because there’s too many “update is genuinely just bad” that if they were to try to ignore all of it, it’d be painfully obvious. You don’t wanna blow it do you ?
It’s also disrespectful to the playerbase in a way, that they’ve stuck with a broken server for what is now becoming several years. The thanks they’re getting is just more of the same stuff. When all they’ve been hoping for is that maybe one day, one admin will actually see the playerbase as actual human beings and treat them as actual human beings, listening to them and having the guts to admit that they’ve made a mistake when they have. That point in time seems to be getting farther and farther away. What makes it even more disrespectful is releasing the change everyone hated a day before the actual main part of the update, that being giga blockwars stuff. Why not just don’t release the update at all and listen to your community, I promise it isn’t that difficult. All of this can literally be put on one thing: money.
I hate money, like a lot. The fact that just a piece of paper has the power to take away the good from anything is totally not unsettling at all. This is what the team has done this all for, money. They only really care about the money, the money is the actual human being in this story because what even are the players. Money is the thing being appreciated here, not the players who give them the money. Look up “quotes about greed” onto google and tell me one that does not apply to Cubecraft or does not tell them something it seems like they need to know.
To the team of Cubecraft, please stop. Please stop ignoring your playerbase and silencing them out, please stop putting money over actual human beings who want to help you earn more of that money, please just stop. I promise you can still listen to your community and earn the money that you so desire at the same time. Just look at Geometry Dash, and the singular developer behind all of it for over 10 years.

inpvp had great minigames but not enough players which didn't help the fact they became mineville
now most of the minigames in mineville can't or hard to play without paying
+made it harder to even find the original minigames because they were in a different lobby which was hard to find at first

The amount of total players has gone up since the update (not including giga). But as mentioned before it’s to early to draw any conclusive answers. There are 1k players playing the game currently. You should look at data as a company as well, although opinions matter it’s not the sole thing.
