Before reading this, please note that this is not an official post. There is no guarantee anything suggested here will ever be added. I will simply be asking for your ideas regarding the topic.

If you are a regular Survival Games player, you probably know that the new supply drops contain a very limited pool of items. Now comes my question for all of you; What would you like to have added to the item pool for the supply drops (in every mode)?

Quick charge crossbow with 4 arrows always guaranteed with it and also you only get 4 shots before it breaks the reason why it's only 4 shots is because it can be op in PvP it's like a damaging snowball the damage can be substantial in sg because a lot of people don't have much armour 😊🤔🍕

I agree with pizza idea. Something somewhat powerful but not permanent would be best. that way there something really rewarding for getting it but it doesn't just unbalance the game.

I like having the items be something that will always be useful and rare, and think the limited number of items in the supply drops helps to distinguish them from other chests that are found around the map and ensure they are always helpful.

However, I do agree that increasing the variation in items received would be cool. I feel like the food item is not always the most useful and perhaps replacing this with just a more 'random' item could be interesting. For example, anything misc that doesn't come under the other 2 items which are an op armour piece and an op weapon.

So crossbows can be found somewhat commonly in normal chests, so I don't personally think they would be a great addition to loot drops, as imo they could be obtained just as easily by looking in normal chests which would decrease the importance of loot drops in the game. Some examples of useful items might be to have the suspicious stew that can be obtained occasionally have different (positive) effects, or to add the possibility of getting, say, 3 tnt (which is currently one of the most useful+powerful utilities imo), or even something like enchanted books as anvils are now usable, and the enchantments naturally found are very cool and mainly well-balanced now, but having a more rare/powerful enchantment such as fire aspect/flame available from only loot drops occasionally wouldn't be too game-breaking imo while still making loot drops worth bothering with.

You've shared some great thoughts on how the supply drops in your game could be improved to maintain their uniqueness and usefulness. You rightly point out that the scarcity of items in these drops sets them apart from the more common chests scattered around the map, ensuring that they remain valuable.

I agree with your suggestion to enhance the variety of items in these supply drops. The idea of replacing the less useful food item with a more random, miscellaneous item is intriguing. This could include anything that doesn't fall under the categories of the powerful armor piece and weapon currently offered.

Regarding the inclusion of crossbows, your perspective makes sense. Since they are relatively common in normal chests, adding them to loot drops might diminish the drops' significance. It's important that these special drops offer items that are not easily found elsewhere.

Your examples of interesting items are well thought out. The idea of having suspicious stew with varying positive effects is unique. Including items like TNT, which you've identified as both useful and powerful, could add excitement to the drops. The possibility of finding enchanted books is also appealing, especially now that anvils are usable. Offering rare or powerful enchantments like fire aspect or flame, exclusive to these drops, would add an extra layer of allure without being overly disruptive to the game's balance.

Overall, these changes could greatly enhance the appeal and strategic importance of loot drops in your game.

i think we can definitly add more variety to the supply drops, i would like to see some items that you cant obtain normally, like enchanted books as said earlier, very strong weapons with low durability, or maybe even more potions. The suspicious stew that is in the game, is currently the wrong one, which is logged as a bug. It is supposed to be the one that refills 6.5 hunger bars with a very high saturation level instead of the default one

I find that sometimes there's too little equipment in the starting chests and too much in other chests.
This results in too great a disadvantage for some and too great an advantage for others, at least at the start.
