You've been thunderstuck!
Thunderstruck is a kit for Overpowered Duels. It focuses on Trident PvP, and specifically on the channelling enchantment. It get's its name from the song "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC.
It consists of:
Netherite Helmet with protection 4
Netherite Chestplate with protection 4
Netherite Leggings with protection 4
Netherite Boots with protection 4
Trident with sharpness 5, loyalty 3, and channelling (called "Thunderstruck")
Wooden Sword with knockback 2 (called "Blunderstruck")
6 Golden Apples
24 Golden Carrots
2 Splash Potions of Healing 2
For this kit to work as intended, the Channelling would have to activate, For this to happen, it would either have to be a thunderstorm, or it could be coded that the channelling activates without it having to be a thunderstorm. Either way, it would take extra effort for the developers to code this, as they would have to make the channelling work.
The Trident does roughly 1.5 hearts on Bedrock. This makes the fights last long, but not too long, although you will be able to heal quite easily, between the food and the potions. As for what the Wooden Sword is for, it's purely there to keep your opponent off you while you throw your Trident. Overall, this kit is a nice hybrid of melee and ranged combat. From my testing, it seems quite balanced, yet skill based.
Also yes the thunder is loud when you get hit by it.
