I'm a rocket man
Rocket man
Rocket man is a kit for Normal Duels. It is focused on crossbow PvP, specifically using firework rockets. It get's it's name from the famous song by Elton John.
It consists of:
Iron Helmet with blast protection 1 (called the "Rocket Helmet")
Iron Chestplate with blast protection 1 (called the "Rocket Chestplate")
Iron Leggings with blast protection 2 (called the "Rocket Leggings")
Iron Boots with blast protection 2 (called the "Rocket Boots")
Crossbow with quick charge 1 and unbreaking 3 (called "Elton")
Wooden Sword with knockback 2 and unbreaking 3 (called "John")
128 Firework rockets with flight duration 1, large ball, black, twinkle. Called “Elton Bombs”. This means that they will explode in a large area; while still being pretty (deadly)
Finally you will have 16 Steak and 1 Golden Apple, so that you can heal during the fight.
I spent a lot of time making sure that fights wouldn't take too long, or end too quickly with this kit. Hitting people indirectly will deal roughly 1.5 hearts of damage, and a direct hit will do roughly 3. I added the Wooden Sword "John", so that you can hit your opponents away from you, so you don't hit yourself with your own firework. I added unbreaking 3 to the weapons, as crossbows break quite quickly when using firework rockets.
The only issues I see with this kit are camping, as it's a ranged kit, so fights might stall, and performance. On performance, fireworks are laggy and maybe they're a bit too laggy on mobile and on potatoe PCs. However, you can turn your particle settings down, so that should solve the issue.
