it always sucks when you cant select the region YOU want to play in.
Getting shoved into a region that is too laggy for you is something i hate most about this stupid matchmaking system.Overall this would be an essential quality of life change for the cubecraft playerbase

the reason it changes your region is because theres too little players playing in your region

switching from na to eu would give me 80 more ping

I get 170 ping on Asia, 260 on na and 330 on eu

My ping is usually around 50 to 80 no matter what server im on

But I haven’t checked if it changes much from server to server so it might be higher
