This can be for cubecraft or just minecraft in general i only play on bedrock so my opinion is biased haha

I have both and both have their merits. For example. Ironically I find java edition more stable than bedrock edition even though bedrock edition was meant to be more stable. I find creative building much better on bedrock due to the differences in creative flying. I also find PvP way better on bedrock. Yet I find both redstone and survival way better on java due to the more consistent redstone and in survival their is way better farms for late game in comparison to bedrock and the limits are much more vast. I also find the colour palette on java more appealing. If I were to choose out of the 2, I pick java, but it depends on preferences. I'm not biased with this opinion since I have much more time played on bedrock
