to summarize the issues
- emeralds = useless
- diamonds are too OP
- obsidian was already hard enough to get in normal and hardcore gamemodes but now it might as well not even be worth it anymore cuz its diamonds
- generators are more expensive to upgrade
- EVERYTHING is more expensive which causes more boring grinding in a base and less action battling it out with other players
- you keep pickaxes when you die which promotes more recklessness when you're alive cuz "who cares if i die! i only need a pickaxe to break an egg anyways!"
- also if you respawn with pickaxes, you can easily kill people even with leather armor and easily prevent them from breaking into your egg instead of before where if you die, you had nothing to use to protect your egg with from the attacker unless you bought stuff again
- wall builders cost gold now AND they dont stack AND they dont build instantly like before which defeats the purpose of being able to quickly block someone off using a wall builder when now they got like 3 seconds to react after you've already placed it and to get around it while the wall builder is building itself
- chain armor was replaced with iron armor and iron armor was moved down a tier
- iron armor is now worth gold
- pickaxes dont got enchantments in normal gamemode anymore
- weakness arrows were removed
- golden apples are now 7 gold??? why?
- and replacing terracotta with concrete wouldve been a good idea if the concrete wasnt so damn expensive and if there were better pickaxes to quickly mine through it in normal and hardcore gamemodes
- and it just overall feels like a whole different game now. the only thing familiar are the maps
