As many of you know, Colony Control was our other popular Winter game from 2020 and 2021. Sadly this year we were not able to release it for our 2020 Winter event. This is due to our development resources being fully focused on our 1.19 Update(https://www.cubecraft.net/threads/321102).

Now some of you are probably wondering "Why was Snowman Survival able to come back but Colony Control wasn't?". This is because Snowman Survival is a much more simple game from a tech point of view. As some of you know, most of our games have been converted into our new game framework(https://www.cubecraft.net/threads/313200), so Snowman Survival needed to be converted before being released. Colony Control is a much bigger game on the tech side, meaning converting it to our new game framework would have taken a lot of time and resources, taking away from our 1.19 update and increasing the release date further.

We understand that our recent seasonal updates have been simple, with no headhunts or no/missing seasonal games. But as mentioned above, this is purely due to a resource allocation decision. We of course still wanted you guys to have an awesome Winter event on our network, so we still pulled out all of the stops to make sure we could offer you at least some content to play and have fun on. But we still need to be aware of our main goals, which are updating and refreshing our network as well as releasing our 1.19 Update.
