Yessss
Zamnnnn alright
This is the scrap metal that I spend 24 hours a day on. It includes your favourite specs such as:
- RTX 3060
- Ryzen 7 5800x (NEW)
- 32 GB RAM
- Water cooler thing for CPU
- Insane Lego piece holding up GPU
This monster helps me stream at amazing quality (sometimes) and makes playback during video editing as smooth as butter (also only sometimes).
Nice rig! How is the 3060? What would you say you get in terms of FPS in Minecraft, or more powerful games like flight sim?
-CPU Pump Corsair ICUE H170I Elite Capellix Liquid Cpu Cooler, -Fans 9 Corsair LL Series LL120, -RAM Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16GB (4 x 8GB) 32GB, -GPU MSI Gaming GeForce RTX 4090 24GB, -Motherboard ASUS ROG Strix X570-E ATX, - CPU AMD Ryzen 9 5950X, -1200W Power Supply
3 MSI Monitors 2 32in 165hz 1 27in 144hz
The 3060 is great. The fans barely need to run while it’s working just to flex how good the cooling is. For Minecraft, I get around 100-200 fps in lobbies and up to 400 in games that aren’t intensive. Heavier games like Hitman 3 and Ark survival run perfectly fine at 140 - 200 fps on high settings. I’ve even been able to hold a perfect 165+ with ray tracing on Hitman lol. Definitely a great investment.
My 4090 on bedrock is trash
Dang! That's quite impressive. I've been looking to upgrade in the future, nothing too fancy, like, 40-series because it's either gonna be the price of a new electric scooter or you would have to sell your left-kidney
only 1700$
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-lkEOEEKYD0&pp=ygUDdWU1 with game graphics getting this advanced though... the time to upgrade will eventually come by to bite me in the face
At their State of Unreal presentation in 2023, Epic showcased the new features coming to Unreal 5.2. These new features include Substrate, a new method for handling materials, and new procedural generation tools.

Yeah, basically the price of a week-long holiday with hotel included.
Well, $3,474.94 but I paid that over the space of 6-7 months.
That’s a lot
Not really when you think about something completely custom made and one of a kind. Though, it depends really what your hobby is. For gaming and PC enthusiasts spending $1,700 (about the cost of a new rig with the latest specs, without the GPU) could be worth it depending on how much they use it.
Tbh I just need something that can run Minecraft, Cities: Skylines, and Flight Simulator 2020 at a decent enough framerate that I barely notice it on my 100hz monitor
best budget set up
Needs more monitors. For real though, that is a decent setup. How does your CPU/GPU handle all those extra screens? Do you ever notice any chugging?
its a 7700x and a 6700xt which i think are perfect for each other so theres no issues with it
the one on the far right uses the integrated graphics tho
so i can game faster
i just put discord on one a game on one spotify on one chrome on one and usually youtube or something else on one
Modern warfare 2 flash bangs
I can understand having one monitor for Discord, and another for Spotify/YouTube while gaming, but that would still only be 3 monitors in use. What purpose would the other two have? Also, sidenote, love that you went with the classic Windows XP Bliss background.
I have the same (yes i went with ultrawide but probably gonna revert back to double/triple monitors when I can afford some decent ones or plan to upgrade again)
the one on the top right i just only have spotify on, the one on the top left i use for anything like tutorials or stuff for games, and the far right one i use for anything i need the desk space for like school stuff
the other 2 are discord and games
i am a fan of multitasking
I'm the same I also liked to multitask. Sometimes I find it difficult but it's also still manageable with an ultrawide. Because you can section off the screen and assign it to different applications
I reeally like the direction UE is going, they keep amazing me with each update, cant say the same for unity tough.. >.>
I’m quite lazy to post it again but it’s right here haha #🕯️︱longest-night message @verbal nexus
Daaaaaaamn
I'm using an HP Elitebook 8440p laptop with a dysfunctional keyboard and battery, the adapter has been modified ever since it blew the only 2 capacitors it had, 2 batteries have been broken, and it's original hard drive failed, all 3 of it's USB-C ports are occupied with interfacing hardware such as a mouse, a replacement keyboard, and headphones.
If the charger weren't modified then this setup may have had a docking station as an alternative source of power. I've been stuck using this laptop ever since the mid 2010s for a lack of funding.
Ouch, at least it has 3 USB-C ports.
Meanwhile me playing Minecraft in 4K on an ultralight.. It just about runs it!

Extra bonus points for the Pico and Marta stickers!

Daaamn, nice and clean
Barely any cables, compact tower but still looks to have a powerful punch

Sounds pretty close to mine apart from the CPU haha
I have the 5800x
