Hello everyone, it's time for Cubecraft to put a better anticheat inside the server because the one that exists at the moment does not do its job well because there are many hackers who never receive sanctions.

I've seen the same issue on bedrock

Doesn’t work they all got disablers

There is a module in clients called "disabler", it basically bypasses most checks in anticheats for featured servers lol

if they are on bedrock and dont have vip then reporting is a complete waste of your time if youre not going for helper

but not really for bedrock because hacked clients on bedrock are external, meaning they inject themselves, plus what anybody could do is just to join the server legit and inject the hack AFTER they joined.

theres no embed but whatever

then scan the dll instead

Also wont be "safe" forever its the ever repeating cycle of "Patching this and that to prevent the client" > "Client gets updated" > "client is useable again" > "Patching this and that to prevent the client"

yep

#

they'll make some different way of injecting it

but what i also don't want is that Microsoft implements an anti-cheat system. because then i can already see the outrage and mass false-bans.

Also after all the server owners should at any time have FULL control over their server.
Thats why a lot of people complained about the chat filter stuff they added to Java but we dont utilize that in the slightest on our private for friends server anyway :p

But yeah back to the topic.

Microsoft adding their own Anti-Cheat could make the situation better, but due to false bans and false-flags which lead to bans its just not a good thing to do. Espacially because you sometimes have to wait weeks for just a simple support reply.

So all that is really available imo is upping the Anti-Cheat dev team which also has its issues (they cost money, they need to be monitored, their code needs to be checked before used and so forth) or upping the Moderation team which is basically impossible with the amount of bedrock players.

In the perfect world theres always moderators on standby to immedietly or with a response time of maximum 5 Minutes teleport to the session where the person got reported and to spectate them.

Or Maybe which just came to mind an "Overwatch" system of sorts like CS:GO has. with either Re-Plays of the session or a selected team of "Overwatchers" that has permissions to enter game-lobbies as soon as a player was reported and have direct contact with Moderators. They won't be able to do anything besides spectating a lobby only if a player inside of it was reported to minimize risk of abuse and they would be responsible to also collect evidence and directly communicate with Mods via for example a Discord channel or also stream the gameplay directly on discord to a mod that might not be available in-game and when the mod is satisfied with enough evidence he punishes the cheater.

(i hope thats understandable, i sometimes get lost in my texts and then sometimes my english dies lol)

if the dll is scanned when you join a server itll be harder to use a client

#

ofc clients that use a duplicate of the game like toolbox would still work but its more than nothing

toolbox sucks so bad mojang themselves patched the fly module and the only way to use it was to use blink
