There is a filter on the minecraft server, it does block swear words. If you've seen someone swearing, they have found a combination that bypasses it, so you should report them 😅

Why does the server need to support older versions? Just set your version to the latest one.
Some people prefer older versions for various reasons
Performance, modding, compatibility etc
I use 1.12.2 because imo it has the best balance between compatibility between servers, modding and performance

I find that it's less optimized
Especially considering that there's no optifine for 1.16 yet

Apparently there wasn't much to change between 1.15-1.16
From what I remember Redned saying PieCreeper, is that versions above 1.12 are extremely unoptimised server side, so it's not viable to upgrade currently

I host a 1.16.1 server on my P.C. and it works decently.
I have had people told me it didn't lag much.
The version with the worst performance has to be 1.14.
Yeah for something small it might work but for larger servers the problems are massively magnified
1.14 was awful because they completely remade the rendering engine

I’ve been using sodium which is a performance mod similar to optifine and tbh it runs the game so much faster. It lacks some of the customization optifine has but everything runs much faster at the end of the day

@proud tinsel I was referring to Java as a whole. Also some Java Cubecrafters are pretty toxic. You’ll find them running around SW, EW and PvP. There’s also some in Bedrock, but a lot less. Probably because there’s no distinguished ‘competitive’ gamemodes on bedrock.

This is not true, some sentinel bans can be inncorect. Also if it is a sentinel ban, just explain what happend before the ban.
