Another idea, fish bait? Or fish feed? They act similar to pet food but every t!fish takes away from the current balance
Like I currently have 20 fish feeds, I execute t!fish and it takes away 5 feeds, making my count 15 fish feeds

For example that the fishing rod costs more but it has a better chance of having rare fish
Or that the cooldown is reduced.
Eventually it would be purchasable upgrades like those for cookies
