Hey guys! I'm no dinosaur expert, but I am an enthusiast. It seems to me that the graphic representation of some dinosaurs in paleopedia in comparison to man is presenting the dinosaurs in a diminished form, and therefore, not providing the correct representation of the animal's size. For example, if you look at the image, Plateosaurus is described as 9 meters long, but if we take the representation of the man and consider that he is 1.80 meters tall, when we place 4 men lying next to each other, we will have a length of 7.20 meters, that is, the plateosaurus represented in the paleopedia is this size, and not what is described. This also happens with other dinosaurs. Furthermore, it seems that paleopedia also contains information that is not very accurate, such as Tyrannosaurus rex measuring 11 meters and weighing 6 tons, whereas nowadays we know of T rex measuring approximately 13 meters and weighing more than 8 tons.

From what I know, fully grown Plateosaurus could end up at a whole range of lengths and 9 meters is at the longer end of that range. 7.2 meters to me seems plausible as an average. T. rex really is undersized though, or at least you aren't the first person to say it.
