#More Skins

Now that alt-species are now split apart (Edmontosaurus annectens now being seperate from Edmontosaurus regalis), I do feel like these new alt-species deserve more skins to go along with their original skins.

Before, skins were used as a way too individualize alt-species (i.e Tarbo skin for rex) or too add additional choices of color for animals. Now from what it seems, that system is relatively gone, more skins would be appreciated on these new seperate species. The skins would still use the species original model, but different color and patterns like the current skins ingame to allow a wider selection and individuality to everyones parks.

As much as I love the current skins ingame, I admittedly would like more choices to pick from. I would still for example like to use the body of E. annectens but have different colors that arent greens and blues.

This is just an idea from something i've noticed about the new hatchery, now with alt-species getting their own slot. These new alt-species do admittedly feel a little plain with only 1 skin to pick from when alot of the other animals ingame have a selection of 3-4 skins. Anyway, thank you for reading and im open for a discussion about this.

Oh and if the devs ever need help with making new skins, an idea I had is to host a community skin competition where people can make their own skins, and the idk 5 or so that win will get added.

Subspecies aren't a thing

#

It's just species

#

Stuff like Tarbo are a separate genus, the alt species are basically new skins of the base as it is, and every animal, save for a couple exceptions only get 3 skins, or alts

mb, well i editted that to make it make sense and yea ik about the alt species being new skins of the base, but now alt species are sorta split from each other, i would like to see more skins ingame for them

#

like 1-2 more skins for tarbo, 1-2 for annectens, etc etc

#

would allow more diversity in color choices apart from relying on the random color hue

Yeah, no more than three or rarely four skins will be made for "animals", defined as a genus and its alts. However, there's one exception in that VIPs (well, the ones who paid) will eventually get to design a skin of their choosing, so if we're lucky, lots of alts will get more than one skin.
