For some quality-of-life feedback, I suggest adding a Random Hue check, which can help us to get more variety with little effort for example, the logs will look like comes from different trees

Though unintentional this is somewhat of a feature: when copying the colour code of an item and pasting it onto another, the second (sometimes both) change hue a little bit. It's not difficult to work around but when these items connect (like walls or pillars) it's rather annoying: I try to do the colouring of items within one session, or copy the pieces around.

What you suggest sounds interesting, I don't know what technical limitations there are. But the cost of implementing it to work as most people would enjoy it, might not be justified: you'd have to agree on an interval of randomness
