Better biome representative art

When these art have been added it is really confusing even more so than the old single plant representations for the biomes. Must say I much preferred the old single plant reps but some updates can be;

Dessert: saguaro cactus instead of the joshua tree since cacti are easily identifiable in such a small pic.

Tropical: a coconut palm could be a better choice since as is I confuse it with temperate and mostly coastal biome; these three are too similar to each other at a distance. Also coconut palms are widely known as the tropical plant in popular culture I suppose.

Coastal: like in the tropical pic some sword ferns can/should be added to bottom sides as it is the main reason I think I confuse it with the tropical biome. This can also help with differentiating with the boreal biome more.

Also, actually including Mediterranean cypress to the Scrubland biome would help out a ton

I feel like a kapok is more diagnostic of a tropical biome than a coconut palm

And I feel like adding ferns to the coastal pic makes it look too similar to the tropical one

perhaps changing the greenery on the tropical to differentiate it more would help

but I disagree that coconut palms in such a small picture are better identifiable than the kapok

The thing is that we should think of the most basic first glance understanding a new player might have in this game. Possibly they have only have elementary school amount of knowledge and in that case ¨palm tree¨ says tropical more than ¨tree with naked trunk¨ does: Especially in comparison with temperate, coastal, and boreal pictures which also have a focal point of one bigger tree

ngl this is a skill issue, it took me very little time to get used to the new icons and they are very distinct imo. also coastal already has ferns on it

Wow, that's another way of having complete disregard for accessibility concerns. But why don't you look at it like this, if new players get frustrated about not finding what they need, how long do you think they'll support the game?
