First of all, I love that the animals prefer different temperatures and biomes! This makes the game more realistic, challenging and creative than JWE(2).

However, sometimes the animals' preferred biomes and temperatures seem inaccurate or inconsistent to me. Of course, with creatures that lived tens or hundreds of millions of years ago, it's difficult to say what temperature range or environment they really lived in or felt comfortable in. But it seems unrealistic to me that Ouranosaurus and Spinosarurus lived at temperatures of 0° Celsius in early Cretaceous Africa - especially since Carcharodonotsaurus, which lived in the same place, is said to have only thrived at temperatures of 5° Celsius and above. But I am happy to be convinced otherwise!

By the way: The temperature data for the Paraceratherium/Juxia are still completely missing.

As a heating (/cooling?) system is planned, I think it would be important to revise/adjust the temperature specifications. In my opinion, it would be sufficient to specify the temperatures in 5-degree increments, from -20 to 35 or 40° C. This would also make it easier to implement temperature control: a basic device could regulate the temperature up or down by up to 20 degrees, for example, and an advanced one by up to 40 degrees.

As far as the biomes are concerned, in some cases I also have the feeling that the decisions were made for the sake of variety. Species that I know coexisted have (partially) different preferred biomes. Are there plans to review the biome affiliation? I realize that this will have a massive impact on saved games, but I think that's something players will have to put up with as the game is still in Early Access.

Fair enough, although it can easily get that cold at night in some regions of Africa, no idea what is was like back then though
