It's been a while since I posted, and so I want to come back with a wishlist for an update I realistically see happening in the future. I love the development of this game, and I'm thinking this could be the next big thing
Firstly, I'd start things off by saying that animal traversability needs a fix. It's not pleasant when you spend hours building an enormous enclosure, only to learn that the animal can only use a fraction of it, or when the animal just freezes and doesn't move until you terminate it. when it's fixed, hopefully then can open-range safaris be implemented successfully.
Secondly, here's the wishlist for things I'd love to have in this theoretical Safari Update:
Vehicles:
Armored Jeeps (for smaller amounts of people)- these could have rails (like in JP) or could roll along a marked out path (like JWE).
Bus (preferably double decker similarly to PZ)- these could hold more people, but would require more maintenance.
Monorail (counts as a tour vehicle) I'd prefer any design choice here, as long as the cars can link up (multiple segments connected to main train). Also give us the ability to put multiple stations for "shuttle mode" like in PZ.
Suspended gondola (kinda like the ones they use in San Diego Zoo) I grew up with these things, and it was pretty cool to get a scenic view of the park.
Airboat (preferably armored to prevent animals from damaging the boat) these would fit in a wetlands safari setting, plus they look cool.
Double decked boat (this could be a good option for a river safari) Would be an option for rivers since it can't traverse shallows
Plants (to enhance safari aspects):
Fever tree (grassland)
Wild sugarcane (grassland)
Queen palm (tropical)
Traveler's tree (tropical)
Sausage tree (tropical/grassland?)
Ghost gum tree (grassland)
River gum (wetland)
Grass tree (shrubland)
Rooibos (shrubland)
King fern (tropical)
Kwango giant cycad (tropical)
Monkey puzzle (temperate)
Giant bamboo (tropical)
Hope you like my ideas
