Hi please can I have some help making a WA of a spell icon that shows the icon when the spell is off cooldown, but does not stay there until the spell is used, instead the icon fades in, persist for a very short while then fades out again? like a pulse alert/reminder essentially.

You can add animations to an aura that causes it to pulse. Check the animations tab

I can see Custom under animation then the option to choose ease type or tick fade in / fade out
but that still keeps the icon there
and it only fades out once the spell is used again

well the icon has to exist for it to fade in and out
if the animation isn't happening when you when then you're using the wrong timing for animation.

does the addon still work? hasnt been updated for a long time , but yes thats essentially what im trying to do here, I used to have that addon before

usually just the trigger for cooldown ready event should do it with a main animation
