#Creating snapshotters

Hello!

I wanted to ask how I could go about creating snapshotters for DoTs in game similar to these:

I play affliction warlock and these weakauras have been an absolute game changer. I would love to set them up for my balance druid and shadow priest, however it's not as simple as changing the skill name inside the weakaura as everything is coded.

I was wondering if someone could teach/help me to make the exact same aura but for different dots like shadow word: pain and moonfire.

How would it even work for moonfire since it turns into sunfire and viceversa?

Dynamic WA to show dot timers on target. CoE will trigger for any similar debuff from another class includes snapshottin

I got no clue about snapshotting mechanics for Cata.

A cursory glance at the code would suggest that it heavily revolves around keeping track of a dozen specific buffs/debuff/talents and quite a few hard coded values.

Adjusting this for something else would seemingly first and foremost require you to know all these things that go into that.

You can always ask the author of the aura in the wago comments whether or not they're open to port this to a different spec.
Who knows whether or not they have the knowledge of what's required to make this accurate for Shadow/Balance though, it might be nice if you could provide all the relevant background info (since you play those specs)
