I've been trying to get a custom sound to play when using Surge Forward on my ensorcelled everwyrm. i somehow managed to make it play the sound after succesful summon but unable to when casting the mount summon. i also wanted the custom soundbyte to play when using mount abilities. i am not familliar with scripting. but i've tried my best. none of the stuff i tried searching online was what i am dealing with 😅. any help will be appreciated. ive been trying to get this to work for a few hours now.

UPDATE: i managed to make the soundbyte play when the abilities have been cast! i just had to use the proper spell ID number in the cast name instead of writing the name. however i still wouldnt know how to get the sound to play when its summoning said mount 😄

i think playing sounds counts as a display type
and you would want the id of the sound
but i think it can point at a filename for sound instead

yeah it detects the filename. i managed to make that work no problem. i am fairly new to this addon. (around 2 days or so)

thank you! :D i managed to make my own healthbar UI also today without any guides 😁, just gotta tinker around a bit more. i figured i'd ask the discord if i might've overseen any things which i have :D. i read about the ID on some other help post here and tried it and it seemed to do the job

well there is the wiki so you don't have to go completely without info. I'm sure the people who make sure tooltips in weakaura have helpful info will be pleased they've done well by you ✨

as for "when the mount is summoned" i think you can make an additional trigger that's when-a-cast-succeeds of the spell id for the exact mount (which isn't going to be the same as its item id.). so that your sound wouldn't play if your few-seconds casting to call upon it got interrupted.
when an Aura has two (or more) triggers on it you can choose from the picklist at the top that Any of them is enough to do whatever its Display section says to do.
the spellid for ensorcelled everwyrm (the SL epic heroic purchase mount) seems to be 307932
