Does anyone have experience with checking the range on friendly/enemy players? This is a weakaura I’ve used in the past, but can’t recreate it

Blizzard changed range checking. It's no longer possible to range check on friendly units

Is there a way to see how many people are in range for a spell?

Like count how many people are in range of my Enveloping Mist

you can't range check friendly units

well you can

but it's limited

counting units in range of a spell should be possible actually
