So sometime last season I updated the WA addon and my weakauras changed from square to looking terrible with the cut edges, at the time I got rid of the update and reverted to an older version and this fixed it.

Until 10.2 came out and I updated all the addons still ignoring the WA update but something changed them that wasn't the WA addon.

Can anyone help me get them back to looking crisp and square please? Thanks

Just to be clear, this is how I want them to look. I'm running elvui and merathilis addon but I can't see any weakaura options in either.

If you dislike the default look of icons there are various ways to get icons "skinned". Below are some options

Clean Icons: Mechagnome Edition -- (AI neural network image upscaling) - https://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info25064-CleanIcons-MechagnomeEdition.html
Masque and skins like ElvUIesque, Flat Squares, or ElvUI - https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/masque
3. Simply use the Zoom setting in the WA Display tab (around 30% usually removes the ugly border).
