I was healing tonight in TOGC and was using the Foji T9 raid pack. After the 2nd boss I realized the Foji pack wasn't even loading for me. In checked the Load tab and I had it set to "Never" load for some reason. So I turned that off. Then I put in the Zone ID for it to use for loading, which the tooltip said : Trial of the Crusader: 172. Okay so I put in 172 for the zone ID and it loaded. Great.

So moving forward killed the next couple bosses, then got to Anub. Mid fight I realized that the Foji pack AGAIN was not loaded! I didn't change anything with it, didn't even load Weakaura window. Game never crashed etc. I couldn't see the Penatrating Cold targets that the Foji pack had setup and we ended up wiping. Immediately I looked at the Load tab to see why it unloaded and now the Zone ID for Trial of the Crusader said it was zone ID 173 not 172!!

What exactly happened here? I absolutely am positive I did not change the zone ID and that it was originally 172 and it loaded fine using that. But then at Anub the zone ID was different. Has anyone experienced this before? It cost the raid a 50/50 TOGC unfortunately.

It is two zones.

It's a rare example of a raid with only two zones.

You mean when you drop down to anub's room its another zone?

Yes. Most raids have many more zones.

But the pack should be already set to only load in the specific boss fights

There is no reason to use zone load.

How come on WOTLK it lists the zone id for TOGC as 4722

#

Like if I wanted to make a WA for someone and set it up for them to only load in a specific zone, how would I know what the correct zone ID is?

There is no reason to restrict the zone, if you can just restrict it to the boss fight

The tooltip tells you the right zone

Is there something in wowhead that shows the correct zone IDs?

I mean it says 4722 on there now for TOGC

It changes when you change the zone. There is also the group zone id

But in this case there was never a reason to use the zone load. Using the encounter I'd is far better
