if you can find the original author's aura already up there, you can see if they ever maintained it any (even if it's still stale, just newer)
or if anyone else took it up and continued it.
I do have a fire mage, so i can help you nosy park the current aura kits around for stuff that Works For Us.
i have to confess recently i'd been lazy about it, since I only play my fire mage on less than current content and enjoy frying things in front of me as mages are wont to do.
tl;dr i'm willing to help but do you want a tune-up or swap to another kit?

I haven't a solid sense of what you want the final to look like. there are a few "suites for mage" out there (most of them seem to be a fat rectangle of progress and icons, mid to low screen - but one is an arc which seems spiffy) and weakaura did let me search for stuff tagged as fire mage.
I found a combust measure bar that's vertical instead of horizontal.

perhaps you can see some of what they used for traits, and either rearrange, or cahoot with them
this is a small one only for scorch+combustion so you know when to execute your target dead ❤️

at the very least a lovely example of cramming extra info onto a single icon
I can't really test it tho, my fire mage isn't lvl 70 and ergo is nowhere near having tier gear to try.
@austere nebula I'm going to fetch yours, and tell my load condition to be my exact fire mage so it can't get in the way of any of my other stuff while i take a look

i set the foes on fire, trouble sighted, shot same.
Auras showing off info, you'll always find a need to update it for class-specific set bonus triggers (i think they'll have spell id)
I understand some players with season2 set bonus (2 parts) are still using 2 from Season1, so you can look for those to merge if you're advising people.

well, in my experience as a mid grade "ire" mage it's just that (almost) everything fiery I do puts energy into it
so if it fills like a bucket (or however you like your progress bar to look) is probably useful to many
likely combined with a "glow external item" for those things having hot streak boosts.
conveniently an aura can just test if the buff exists, not ask why it happened.
i don't remember if fire mages are expected to cycle "cool & conserve" vs "burn burn burn" phases, or it's a lot more like hot or Very Hot.
(i also don't tend to play my fire mage solo, which does complicate knowing some things.)

i'm not sure if I'm making sense of the numbers but the sliding-black in the fire looks pretty good.

the training dummy areas are crowded with other people doing similar things. going to land where fairly few people are doing the content allows me to easily choose what target type but be honestly alone or with my guildie.
