There is a trigger that can check class and specialization. I believe its Player/Unit Info->Connditions

Player/Unit Info > Unit Characteristics
Then set Unit to Smart Group and specify Class and/or Spec below

Appears between Class and Classification for me. Unsure why it wouldn't appear for you. What WA version and is this retail/classic/wotlk?

WotLK doesn't have specializations the same way retail does

#

If you want to determine specializations then you'd have to inspect their talent loadout and determine what their spec is based on those choices. Sounds like more work than it's worth
