I have made a weakaura that displays all my stats in an easily digested way, but its a bit bulky to have open permanently and would like to have some of it only display while my character panel/window is open. any suggestions please?

The usual quick workaround for this is to anchor the Aura to the frame. If you set it to take it as a parent then it will also inherit the show/hide status
