Shadow Gens toyed around with the idea that he would become black doom's "new form" iirc so perhaps he has just kinda jumped from body to body in order to become the most effective force of 'doom' he can be.

Shadow being the next evolution for him form wise

Except for Doom Morph, but I wish it could've happened when he used the surf thing and his wings.

For me I'm not really sure what to make of the discourse around the movies to begin with. Like I can acknowledge the intent of the characters and their arcs and heart behind the storytelling in the same way I do prime characters, (rip me being the only one to care about Dread getting his arc resolved) but the current climate its in seems to be elevating it waaaay further than the movie and characters can afford. It was a really really funny and enjoyable movie, which is more than enough for entertainment, but idk

Honestly one of the bigger worries I have moving forwards is just what happens when they substitute Jim for another villain; maybe the movies will have enough serious energy in the tank to regroup and elevate the characters to the heights that fans paint them to be with added resources, but in the opposite direction I look at the GUN main characters and the Knuckles villains and it's... hm
