I already have accepted that there is a good possibility that they won’t change the models because the reality is that only a loud minority wants that, which isn’t me saying that these people don’t matter. But just imagine for a moment being in the shoes of an executive at Sega. When the majority of people don’t even poke their eyes at the current models, would you change them? And consider the factor that the resources for other aspects of the next game might be taken away especially if the next game’s development cycle isn’t going completely smoothly and compromises have to be made
