For stuff like “the open world is just empty” that did end up resonating with some fan criticisms, but more often than not theyre just never happy and reductively describing elements of the game that are legit positives
So someone saying “oh it carries nothing from shad gens or frontiers” reductively might just mean a game that’s fresh enough it’s hard to associate the two in terms of what it’s made on its own terms
