Maybe instead of being stationary aswell, the characters could be constantly on the run, kinda like the advance 2 bosses but turn based. A relatively small visual change but a fitting one

Also idk if that's a thing or not, but since he2 is made with nodes and that's the same thing for ue, isn't it even easier to transfer stuff from he2 to ue ?

But like, while it's true that the whole thing can be rebuilt from scratch, there's certain things that don't make sense because it would save a lot of time to just reference and/or reuse parts of what sumo did. For example, the vehicle customization is almost exactly the same as TSR but with more parts
And then there's the vehicle transformation. They could figure that out from scratch or they could look at what Sumo did for ASRT and reference that
And like yeah it's a different engine and they definitely couldn't just copy a bunch of code from ASRT and run it and expect it to work
