It took a while but I finished movie 2 (attention span moment not the movie's issue):

A great improvement over the initial. It feels more Sonic and I like the Indiana Jones vibe it has.

With respect to 1, and logically given what happened with the pandemy, it has very rough visuals. Nothing that is super jarring but definetely movie 1 had the more consistent visuals out of these two as well as a better color grading.

The wedding plot I feel it's kind of disjointed, and I think it would have worked better if they skipped the scenes after Tom and Maddie go to Hawaii except the one with the rings so that doesn't feel like an asspull, and streamline things a bit as some parts of it do drag a little bit,

But I still have plenty of fun with this. Knuckles and Tails are very good additions and both have plenty of moments to shine and reflect on Sonic's journey in this adventure in particular. I don't feel Tails been that sidelined though I would had liked a bit more of screentime of him with Sonic.

Knuckles specially stands out, being a very cool take on the character and a great foil to Sonic's speed and abilities. The climax is also super fun. Eggman, interpreted by Jim Carrey, still remains as one of my favorite iterations of the character. He is funny without sacrificing the threatening aspect of the doctor while also adding Carrey's general vibes to the take.

Overall, a very good time for me and I would revisit it a lot.

Obviously nothing for domestic (yet), but the movie has already grossed $1.37 million USD so far, thanks to early screenings in New Zealand and Colombia.

New Zealand has took the most of that from just one theater, which had early screenings for two weekends (November 21st-24th and November 28th-December 1st). Colombia also screened in just one theater over this past weekend (December 12th-15th), only raking in $461 USD of the total.

And finally, finished the Knuckles series in a formal way

#

I frankly had a great time with it. Knuckles and Wade are a very good couple and compliment eachother's anthics very well. The absurd comedy of this show is my vibe so I dig it. The G.U.N. agents also balanced out of eachother very well. Not perfect though. I do think ep3 was a low point where I felt it was 'too much' of what they were going for with it, the buyer is non-existant as a villain and I feel the last line felt somewhat weaker (ep5-6) but nothing mayor in this last aspect

Episode 4 is my favorite just by how far they take their anthics and what not and truly enjoyed Knuckles' journey in this show in particular, as well as Wade's. I truly felt compelled by both of them

If I had to rank the Knuckles series, it would be slightly below sonic 2

Although, if I have to elaborate on this, it would be like this

If I am into a more 'critical' mode, Sonic 2 is the more fleshed out and consistent experience but the Knuckles show is the one I prefer better.

Now, in terms of series I've seen of Sonic, this would be a ranking based merely out of my personal preferences:
