So I want to talk about Golden Capitol. Compared to a lot of the emptiness of the other stage, I don't know why the others don't look like this.
It has simple elements but due to the purple mountains, greenery, the white pillars and temples makes for an appealing background. And the cool checkerboard + gold aesthetic directly contrasts in such an appealing way. This is how they should've approached visuals

Level design: Pretty stellar, some oddities but imo it's very solid and showcases the best core aspect of the game
Physics: Pretty accurate so far, although I wish they could've pushed some more QOL stuff (Knuckles doesn't have the spindash cancel). Although fun fact: Tails descends faster when holding down, really good
Visuals: Mixed bag. They could've done a lot more although there's places were that simplicity shines through (Speed Jungle and Golden Captial being good examples. The badniks and characters themselves are well designed and what I want to see more of.
Music: Mixed bag, kinda lowkey unrememberable. Worst part of the game
