One of the biggest opportunities I think there is with sonic movie narratives taking place on earth, is that when we eventually (and they will have to) go off planet to some other places.
Sonic, despite being a legend across the galaxy in name, would essentially be a stranger to his roots and planets in a way.

every idea I’ve seen to put Amy in sonic movie 3 always downplays her importance
they always shove her in
in movie 2 we had this exact problem. tails was a major character in the film and yet he ends up becoming an afterthought for large stretches of it
now we have to develop him and sonic and possibly give some time to knuckles while also introducing several new characters both adapted and original
you need to elaborate on the commander, on robotnik’s past, the status of GUN
ALL while introducing Shadow and giving a hopefully satisfying conclusion to his story too

color grading cannot go too overboard
animal expressions are reduced, not only face wise
exaggerations in plot beats work better when using a more traditional art style compared to live action
basically, while it has the same beats and such for the most part, a lot of the visual storytelling of the original cannot pass to the live action
Aladdin, by it's side, understood the capacities of the format to an extent
and still got away with cartoon-like traits thanks to the genie's magical nature
Just in Simba's yell for example. Making it suddenly darker given how the scene first started 'does not make sense' from a logical point of view in either of these, but the animated media gets that this is in pro of making emphasis of the horror Simba feels when he sees his father fall to his demise. In the live action, due to it's nature, that cannot happen due to it's more realistic format.

the latter added some real-life context that definetely helped the story to my eyes, also the people of the castle turning into objects (and 'dying' in the process) adds some more stakes to the story

Its a training video for projectionist on how to set up a movie with a digital projector
Basically a studio sends the theater a hard drive, And then you have to plug the hard drive into a server, and you transfer all the files on it, They call it Ingest, Then they are supposed to send you some kind of file that's an encryption key that unlocks the files to be played on the project, The key unlocks it for a certain number of days, Then they have to receive another key to continue showing the movie.
The format they use is called Digital Cinema Package or DCP.
I found it fascinating, Gone are the days where a projectionist have to manually put a roll of film onto a platter which takes a couple of minutes to set up, Because they have to rewind the film back in order to play it again
