I doubt that would be the case, Because given how this show is very bowling centric, There is some plot revolving around Wade and Bowling, And Knuckles sees that as an opportunity to teach him how to become a warrior, And Wade would have to overcome his fears on participating in this bowling tornament.

So far, all we know is there is Bowling, and a dude who worked with Robotnik wanting to steal some of Knuckles powers.

Anything beyond that? We don't know

Also Pachacamac is involved, and we still don't know the reason he's working at a Bowling Alley, So the theory that he's part of a dream sequence is plausible.

Why would they show Wade in a Knuckles costume and running on some stage dressed like Emerald Hill? Either Wade is dreaming, or Knuckles.

I don't think Knuckles would dream of Wade wearing a costume of himself, So that leads to maybe it being Wade
