You have to take into account that the events in the movies are very different from what the game's canon shows.

I hope Sonic 3 follows the path of production they did for Knuckles, because it's a pretty solid turnout on all sides.

said production being, that they shot the production in order from the first scene to last.
At least according to my initial source back in the months, when I was just getting tidbits abt the show's process going good.

And then they were doing the CG characters and overall VFX in tandem with the shootings, meaning there was a good momentum on both sides of filming, VFX, editing, etc.

They were filming all the VFX during the strike, and once the strike was over, They get the actors film all the scenes where they interact with the CG characters and any of the non CGI scenes.

Knuckles is a pretty honorable dude.

I think that'd be considered disrespectful in terms of towards his late tribe.

That & he'd have to have gotten his quill length shortened, and gotten wider.

Probably just the first episode, and for a limited amount of time.

The movie lore is very lose on the sonic lore, There are things we know about the lore that's here and there, But there approach to it is very different.

The stuff with the Owls, I don't recall that being part of the official lore, So we gotta take that into account.
