thats awesome

stable oak
#

i dare say ive improved from a year ago

#

also helps when the piece cap is 2k more than last time

#

bt comparison, this is the orignal moc

raven fjord
#

it feels like there are more finer details in the new one

#

i also love the water drain

stable oak
#

that was the single hardest thing to design here

#

making it seamless AND modular by floor

raven fjord
#

i believe it, ive tried to before in the past but it never worked out for me

stable oak
#

@quick parrot im going to do the same thing i do when i reach the end with my designs. im going to sit on it for a week. if i dont feel the urge to change anything for a whole week, its ready to go to Ideas.

surprisingly only 13 colours

#

i didnt do too much interior detail on the second and third floor since i do want to make my buildings in real life eventually, its an easy way to cut down on cost a little without taking away from the overall aesthetic

stable oak
#

I added more detail than usual Lego Modular’s to the additional floors

#

I don’t like having exposed stud floors

#

I will be making renders of the interior soon

#

or am i wrong

stable oak
#

I don’t but only because I lack the pieces. If I had them, I would, as I designed it.

#

30 tile pieces is not a budget breaking amount for me

fast sun
#

what do you want me to test

stable oak
#

can you look at that assembly and tell me if it will work?

fast sun
#

looks possible

stable oak
#

if i zoom in on the part where it touches the outside theres some clipping

#

but studio doesnt detect it

fast sun
#

the clipping is so slight it shouldn't matter

stable oak
#

thats what i was wondering

fast sun
#

i've had worse

stable oak
#

any thoughts on making that cooler?

#

or rather, making that roof one contigoues piece

fast sun
#

1 sec my own moc is trying to kill itself

#

right not i would do more with the roof

#

like maybe some windows in it

#

doesn't have to be a ton

#

just something to give it more depth

stable oak
#

i mean that bottom floor cover?

#

hardly a roof

#

awning

fast sun
#

yeah

stable oak
#

as long as it fits

@quick parrot i made some last minute changes to the entry awning, i liike the pointed roof more than the arch, i changed the design a little, changed the middle window on second floor to be more prominent and changed the colors of the window in the attic/roof

old post office has expired

#

go ahead and submit this one?

quick parrot
#

unless you want to add a little post van

#

could be fun

stable oak
#

its a violet evergarden reference set without specifically adding her

#

they used a bicycle with a little box to deliver mail

#

maybe if i designed another generic post office

#

taking story scene renders now

fast sun
#

amogus!

#

i feel like right here could use a bit of detailing

#

could be as simple as some tiles tilted to be like diamonds on the tudor corner

#

i just think it needs something

stable oak
#

It’s a roof window

#

Those are usually pretty bare

#

I could add a motif or something granted

stable oak
#

I’m more or less satisfied with it

stable oak
#

Submitted

#

Im a little bit late to the party but how are the people with mils plates gonna use these

fast sun
#

by transfering them to one like anyone does with the other modulars?

stable oak
#

all modulars designed this way are MILS compatible with a little work

#

but modulars arent designed for MILS

Love the updated roof chief that's one good build!

stable oak
#

Oh there’s supposed to be a comma in between roof and chief

#

I was like, what’s a “roof chief”?
