I completely missed the Dimensions themes (partly for outrageous overpricing and partly for the questionable value for money aspect) so I'm happy that a few used that springboard to go into proper themes. Once the Dimensions and Ideas got a look in it was only a matter of time, especially since they've gone full steam on the Lego Mario as well as Lego video games so i think Sega's mascot was long in the pipes.
And yes, Knuckles is a MUST!!

Unfortunately the sticker sheet for ground tiles was sticking to the instruction booklet so i peeled them off which created a white mark, i tried to get it off mistaking for a tiny peice of sticker and ended up creating a mark accidentally.
Everything else is fine but i'm kind of overwhelmed because it was a really nice booklet.

Despite the ball shaft method to be somewhat better for Eggman, i kind of got annoyed by the arms (and parts of his torso) falling off when moving them too fast so i used some dark gray clip sockets from a Lego City Rescue Missions set.

The Ideas Sonic set is centered around the Classic Era and only has Classic Sonic as a Minifigure, the Theme will actually give us more characters despite all of them being based around the Modern Era.
Although i do agree that the scenery and the Badniks are slightly better than in the theme.

The set is overall good especially the Sonic Minifigure (that looks better than the dimensions figure) but i didn't realize that the purple lavender peice used on the flower originated from Gabby's Dollhouse.

I prefer the ideas set Motobug personally.

I think both motobugs look really good, I prefer the newer one just because it doesn't use stickers.

Apart from the soap water trick
You should always apply these stickers while the piece is placed on a plate to not be crooked

The Flicky Minifigure is good but how she's placed on the Motobug makes it look like a ride.
Like i said months ago the Badnik builds look kind of ugly.

If we ever get Classic styled sets but if we do i really hope they come up with a Eggman design.
Classic Eggman is supposed to be shorter than his Modern counterpart but he's strangly taller.

Maybe we'll get an 18+ death egg with classic minifigures soon.
They'd probably include classic sonic, tails, and knuckles and because it's Lego, they can just change the printing for tails and knuckles as they did with sonic.
I think classic Amy would need a completely new mould, using sonic's wouldn't work even if they added the hair at the front because her quills are different.
