Tidy adopted the system's 5.3 changes (as yet unreleased in Tidy), so my next release would have done the same thing the system is doing. Here's a screenshot of a test warlock's spellbook in Tidy's upcoming release.
I can clearly see this is a problem and would be confusing in practice.
If I'm able to do it, would it be better to put these cantrips in a section called "Pact Magic - Cantrips"? Likewise, if Apothecary magic is similarly Single-Level, it would do the same thing. I don't have that content module, so I cannot test it.

@heady sequoia @agile rover Pardon the ping, but do you have any opinions on how one should handle this from the user's perspective? Note how in the screenshot, Eldritch Blast is just folded into the Pact Magic section along with the levelled spells. Default is the same way because I stole it from them I adopted their methodologies.

Cantrips being in a spell slot section seems like a bug

It definitely does. If Kim and Jeff think so, too, then they may solve the problem themselves.
@obtuse anchor , you worked on the module with Apothecary Magic, right? Would you put cantrips from other spell methods into their own sections, if you could choose?

I implemented that, yes, and no - spells that consume said spell slots would go in those spell slot sections

Are cantrips able to consume a slot in alternate single-level spellcasting methods?

Cantrips are never able to consume a spell slot of any kind.

#

Wouldnt be a cantrip if it was

Would the ideal be that all cantrips just be in the Cantrips section?

imo yes

#

This is the first I've seen that this wasnt the case.

Ok, I'll go with that and make the adjustments. Whatever I find, I can submit it as a PR / Issue

#

This, or some subsequent changes in the spellbook prep area, but I believe it happened here.

Probably.
The commit message doesnt mention cantrips, so we can assume this must be a bug.

Thank you for the insights

#

This fixes it. I'll set up an Issue / PR for this on the system

I concur. Good work, team
