#I tested with a broken hook for "

thise here might be a critical part that might produce a loop somehow can you see if this update is executed over and over again for the same item e.g. uuid a local variable
maybe that tab of the console.log might help: there is a performance tab. when i press record and reload the page i can see the first 3 seconds scripting action and after that a huge idle time nothing happens anymore. Maybe this tab can get closer to the issue you encounter:
here you can see the methodes wasting the most of your cpu:
they all say anonymous, that's a bit frustraiting
also i did a bit more testing and the game is 100% fine with my normal modules / without any modules, but without yours, "fine" but very laggy with only yours and crashes with all of them together
also it didn't return anything unless i did it wrong
the set command just sets the majorVersion not getting it so from now on you should skip the phase of migrating. ... if that is at all the source of the problem. I have still no clue.
I currently checked any possibility and still find no attack to break it the way it is broken for you. I have identified one source code that might be for any reason i currently can not reproduce be possible source for your problem just because it is updateing an item and mayhaps as suggested by the hook you show me this would lead to a problems.
I will remove this part in my next release although it will weaken my migrate on the fly script. Maybe this will solve something. wait for v4.0.3.
4.0.3 released
👍 ill test later
