#Development Opportunity: Syrinscape Integration

Hi <@&596076164104323104>.

The good folks at Syrinscape (https://syrinscape.com/) are looking for someone who can help continue to grow and evolve their integration.

Some excellent community-driven work has already been done by Frondeus with https://foundryvtt.com/packages/fvtt-syrin-control, but the Syrinscape team is interested in putting together an official integration module that adds even more features. They have asked me to help identify a few candidates who might be ideal to work with.

Ideally they are looking for someone who:

  1. Loves making the most of audio in TTRPG games
  2. Feels comfortable working with audio APIs in Foundry VTT
  3. Is willing to engage on this project both in the short term but also to ensure long-term compatibility for versions 13 and beyond

I understand this work would entail modest compensation (I don't know exact amounts, probably negotiable), full access to the comprehensive Syrinscape library, and community recognition as a subject matter expert for pairing Syrinscape with Foundry VTT.

I might be interested. I have experience making a similar module, Soundscape. I kinda lost interest in that because it's a lot of work to make your own soundscapes, but having access to the Syrinscape library changes things.

I'd also add compatibility with my other modules, like Material Deck. And I could add support for MIDI controllers, which I've previously experimented with in Soundscape: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLHYvbUgxTE

This is a quick test to control the Soundscape module using a Behringer X-Touch.
This is not ready for release, and won't be for a long time.
