#Improvisation in Foundry

I've got a hexcrawl toolkit I'm building out right now and will probably add that to my available modules in the near future. I have sci-fi tables that are working pretty well for my Savage Dragonstar game but I still need to build out the fantasy tables some more.

Are you trying to improvise entire encounters? Or just randomly determine an NPC the characters encounter?

Basically I was thinking of setting up encounters I could quickly drop into a scene for unexpected or random encounters, so I don't have to fuss with setup longer than it would take me in a pen and paper game. As things stand, I have to rely heavily on premade encounters to keep things moving, and I'd like to be better at improvising things so I don't hold up the game

Yea, that's a little different than a hexcrawl like I'm throwing together. I still have to plan my encounters based on what I generate in the hex.

It does sound like that Quick Encounters module will handle it, though.

Yeah, I'm not doing a hex crawl

It looks like it, yeah
