Okay, great.

#

Can you open PowerShell by hitting the Windows Key and typing "Power"

versed flame
#

yes

dry prism
#

Okay - we'll want to run ipconfig and look for "Default Gateway"

#

That is the address of your router.

#

Once you see that, type that into your browser to access your router settings.

#

Maybe you were already there, but just wnated to make sure.

versed flame
#

i did all that but i had trouble logging into my wifi

dry prism
#

The router asked for a password when you went to that address?

versed flame
#

when i went to the adress it asked for a sign in

dry prism
#

Okay

#

Check the back of the actual router for a sticker. It may have information on it that tells you the default login information.

versed flame
#

i have checked the back for login info, inputed the informaion, still dosn't let me log in

dry prism
#

Hmm

short trench
#

did you like triple check that it was correct?

versed flame
#

yes i did

#

password or username probably changed

dry prism
#

Here is what I would suggest if that login is incorrect and you do not have the changed information recorded anywhere.

#

I would contact your Internet service provider first, and ask if they are able to give you that information. Perhaps they changed it as part of their setup.

short trench
#

i would contact ur ISP and ask for the info

#

yeah

dry prism
#

If they cannot, you may have to factory reset your router.

versed flame
#

cool

We will need access to that router to correct the port forwarding and to setup an IP reservation for your host computer so it doesn't wander away from the rule again.
