Sometimes the DNS servers for the south american ISPs can muck up the connection. You can try setting your DNS server to 8.8.8.8 or 1.1.1.1 or try using a VPN
The problem persists even when I change the DNS sever, I'll try tomorrow with a VPN to see if this works out
