It has a link to here:

#

In there is a zip folder called “chariot-of-the-gods-scenes”

Yea. Thats very old. They have created a module with them in.

Are you able to tell if it is compatible with the starter set?

#

Is it to old to even bother with? I was just hoping I could access the maps and perhaps they were pre-walled.

It should be compatible with the starter set but it's not compatible with FVTT V11.
The compatable core FVTT version is 9

polar rose
#

Is that due to the file structure within the zip itself?

tacit terrace
#

No it's a setting in the module.json file.

#

Let me see what I can do.

Thank you so much. Do you have a way I cold buy you a cup of coffee or a beer?

#

Or a 4star review somewhere? Let me know…

#

By the way your modules I have installed a very nice BTW. Much compliments…

#

BTW I am running 11 (like many I believe) if that makes any difference to you deciding if it’s worth you time. Thanks again. Will check back later. You rock.

So....
Only the Scene pack has anything in it.
I have edited the module.json so it works with V11.
BUT....
When importing the scenes (that had walls and doors) it's not picking up the images. as they are not included in the module.

Solution...
Without FVTT running (very important)

  1. Download the zip as normal, open it and copy the "chariot-of-the-gods-scenes" folder into your modules folder.
  2. From the google drive download the DeckPlans and PlayerVisualAids folders and open the zip files and put the folders in the chariot-of-the-gods-scenes folder.
  3. in the chariot-of-the-gods-scenes folder replace module.json with attached file
  4. Fire up FVTT, create a test Alien world (just to make sure it's all working) and enable the module. You should see a compendium with the scenes in it.
  5. import of the scenes into the world. You should see a black screen but with doors and actors.
  6. Right click on the scene and select Configuration. Click on the file selector for Background Image and navigate to
    modules/chariot-of-the-gods-scenes/DeckPlans
Then select the image for that scene and Save Changes.
You should then see the Scene Image with doors and walls.
#

Once you are happy with that you can switch you your active world and repeat steps 5 & 6 for wach of the scenes.

#

BUT Before you do any of that TAKE A BACKUP 🙂

#

FYI. The actor and journal pins are all broken in the scenes so you will need to remove/replace them.

Wow thanks again. Should one just dispose of all the other .db files besides the "scenes" .db prior to adding the module to data/modules folder?

#

@tacit terrace thx a lot! Let me know if I can do anything for you in the future. I do have some design and map makin' chops. (See my maps in the main) free-league Or like I said happy to buy you a beer or cuppa joe if you want.
