If you're sure you edited the right file in the right location being used by your game, not much more I can tell you without logging into your game and taking a look

yeah i did, its not a world ending issue, just means ill need to turn off folders when im running game or my players keep clicking the dead buttons
the folders is mostly for me to help me organize & prep

the thing I told you to change killed the button functionality, not the buttons themselves
in the templates folder, find compendium-directory.html and inside that
everything there between #if and /if needs to go away
