Tooltip needs to change how it function as if you have some kind of markup of the texts in descriptions it will break things (sometimes). So my thought is just to always have edit button visible and remove the tooltip icon altogether. Is this a good solution as you need to be able to just see the details of powers and so on. Are there any draw-backs to it?

what kind of details would be available to see? Honestly I don't use tooltips that much so to me it wouldn't matter THAT much, but for example i DO use them for Rotes, which don't have any other info available immediately on the sheet.

Originally it was thought to be a way to quickly see the “thing’s” description and system as there no easy way to see that without unlocking the sheet and then open the thing you wanted to see details about.

Yeah, like, if you take away the tooltips, the only way to see details about the power/discipline/whatever is going to be unlocking the sheet and opening the item? Or is there going to be a way to open the item in read-only (which would be ideal?)

As I see it I must able the "edit" button to be visible, either that to have a "see item light". But that does't make any sense, if you need to click you could just as well open the whole thing so you can see it. But yeah, then maybe in a locked fashion
