you're right, i got it confused because of my keyboard that supports both mac and pc, and get confused because control exists for both.

Yeah it’s a whole mess when you’re using a PC keyboard.

no, mine is a logitec with PC and mac. and mac has control, option, command. the logitech keyboard thinks start button is the same as the mac option, and the alt is the same as the mac cmd.

so out of curiousity, if control maps to command, what maps to the mac control?

(ever since apple silicon and i dont do much PC gaming, i do most of my development on a mac)

Well, I was using “map” earlier in the context of Foundry keybindings. What the keys on your particular keyboard fire off will be up to how you’ve configured it in the OS. Straight out of the box, Control sends Control, Windows sends Command, and Alt sends Option.
