K15 says the EMP killed our primaries. I assume that means the four outboard engines yet, they look like they're still running to me. It would be neat to have their animations stop and the engine sound stop except for in the hangar. bisjal

it'd make the situation feel much more dire if they weren't running

like, i never got the feeling of impending doom when all the lights turn red

having those engines stop would drastically up the doom level

a) the sound doesn't change when they die...the engine sound should be gone except in hangar bay
b) should they come back on after Zenlil Defense? because they are on again

maybe it's just too loud so it effectively sounds the same?
